“My Crazy Family Golf” is a unique, interactive art installation created by Lisa Watts and her father, Gordon, that combines a five-hole crazy golf course with audio recordings of their family. The course, designed to evoke a sense of home and caring, features handmade golf clubs and scorecards, along with audio triggered by the course itself.
The installation is a five-hole crazy golf course, designed with handmade clubs and scorecards. Each hole incorporates audio recordings of Lisa’s parents, offering a glimpse into their lives during a period of caregiving. The project aims to evoke a range of emotions, from joy and playfulness to appreciation for the complexities of caregiving.
The project has been exhibited at various venues, including Fabrica in Brighton and Saltaire Inspired, and visitors are invited to play the course and experience its themes.
