This event is the book launch for an international project in which 73 people from different walks of life have been invited to photograph and write briefly about a place that has particular significance for them - their 'Somewhere' - from an ordinary bus stop in Sheffield to a home in the West Bank. Mark Doel will present the ideas behind the project, consider ideas of place and placelessness, and introduce some examples from the book.
