Meet local artist Lynne Chapman, who will share some of her sketchbooks and talk briefly about some of the different techniques, approaches and materials you might want to explore when you’re out drawing. Then Lynne will lead a sketchcrawl in the centre of Nether Edge, where you can have a go at capturing some of your favourite elements of our very special community using your own sketchbook.
Bring along a sketchbook (not too big – A5 is ideal) and whatever art materials you like to use. We’ll be outside, as long as it’s dry, so dress appropriately. You could bring a folding stool if you wish, but it needs to be lightweight.
