Come and explore the world of Sashiko – a traditional Japanese therapeutic crafting technique that combines mending with embellishment. Get comfy in the library of Kenwood Hall; learn about the history of Sashiko, how to start & finish your very own patch, and how to ensure your newly found skill is used to it’s full potential!
All materials are included, but if you’d like to bring along any clothing (non-stretchy, jeans are great!), then please feel free. Herbal teas and snacks also supplied – chilled, crafty vibes guaranteed.
Please ensure you arrive with 5/10 mins spare to settle into the space. Suitable for ages 12+ (children must be accompanied by an adult).
