Lantern Theatre

Living On The Edge Poetry Competition

Poems must be at least 30 lines, entitled Living On the Edge.

Open to all residents of S11 and S7, entries can be left at Zeds on Nether Edge Road or emailed to beverleywardwriter@gmail.com by 7pm on Wed 18th Sept. Include your name, postcode, contact details and age category (Children under 10; 11-16 year olds; adults) with your entry.

The prizes will be Rhyme and Reason book tokens to the value of £40 (adult); £20 (Children).

Prizes will awarded and poems read at the Poetry Open Mic event on Friday 20th September.

Festival Painting Competition

Paint a picture titled Animals or Flowers in Nether Edge. The painting can be in any medium, but must be 6 inches square. You can enter a maximum three pictures per person.

Free to enter and open to all residents of S11 and S7. The prizes are £60 (16+) and £30 (under 16).

Please hand entries (labelled on the back with your name and contact phone number) in at Nether Edge Bowling Club or Wickwire by Saturday 14th September. There will be a public vote for the winner on Sunday 15th September at the Farmers’ Market.
